My weekend..

Bad news. The dentist imformed me a couple weeks ago that I would have to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was thinking to myself, oh this couldn't be too bad. And then the words spewed from his mouth, "You have SIX wisdom teeth!" I really didn't know what to think, besides the fact it sounded painful. Friday is when I will have these eliminated. Everyone has been notifying me to just eat popsicles and nothing else! I'm not planning on doing anything this weekend besides resting, because I think that is the best thing I can do.

Meet Rae!

Smart, caring, funny and stressed would all describe Rae. Rae works as a zookeeper and has a pet giraffe named George, who she takes care of while she works. Studying very hard to become a physical therapist, she has always wanted to help people and loves the medical field. As she travels to her home in Colorado, Rae is greeted by her sisters and mom who are throwing a birthday party for her. She is turning 21 and thinks it is going to be a good day, but she finds out differently. With so many things happening at once, Rae retreats back to writing in her journal each day. She hopes and trys to stay faithful in everything, but finds it hard at times. In the end, she gets the biggest news of her life.

Opinion Piece

I have received many meaningful gifts during my life. Nolan and I always try to out do each other with the most unique and memorable gift. Anytime there is a holiday or some important occasion, we try to make sure we surprise each other with something special. We don't neccessarily buy each other gifts, and most of them are homemade, which make them so much more personal. The gifts vary from scrapbooks, drawing pictures, and just little notes stating how important the other one is, to concert tickets, picnics on a warm day, going out to eat at a facny restuarant. I treasure each memorable gift very much and am thankful to have a person in my life like him.
